I started my page simply because I love food, I love taking photos, I love writing and I love meeting people and hearing their stories.
If you had of said to me 2 years ago, I would have 18 thousand followers, be dining in the best of Melbourne’s restaurants and cafes, attending cool events like these, or of course my absolute favourite food truck park event- the peanut butter festival, two weekends ago (peanut butter is my kryptonite) and meeting awesome, passionate, like minded people , let alone be standing up here talking to you, i probably would have laughed in your face…. and the truth is I’d probably be a few kilos lighter too!
What makes twogoodtoresist unique?
I take pride in being authentic, not taking advantage of the industry and being true to my followers in what I write, suggest and produce.

How long have you been in business?
Between 1-3 years
Can you tell us how you started your business?
I love food, eating out, trying new places and was always the go to (and still am) for my friends and family. I would always get messages like I’m going to x location, I want x cuisine and x price range, can you recommend me a place? So one day I decided to share my love of food, discovering amazing businesses and taking photos via instagram. I never expected it to pick up the way it has and really love it.
What would you say has been your biggest challenge and how did you over come it?
Coming into contact with places who invite you in and just want good reviews and 5 star ratings as opposed to honesty. Theres also unfortunately a lot of bloggers out there who take cafes and restaurants for a ride for their money and take advantage of what they’re offering and it really upsets me, especially when small businesses are struggling and just want your help getting their name out there.
What is the one thing that has had the biggest impact to your success?
My degree in psychology! I always sound nerdy saying it but I love researching what people want to see, when they want to see it, why certain meals do better at different times of day etc. I never thought psych and food could intertwine into success and it really has.
